Equal Housing Opportunity
Our Policy
Real estate advertising is subject to Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, which, among other things, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18) and handicap/disability. The New York State Human Rights Law also prohibits discrimination in the use and occupancy of housing because of age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, sex or marital status. Other states and localities have enacted similar laws prohibiting discrimination. The Site will not knowingly accept any real estate advertising which is in violation of applicable law. All users are hereby informed that all dwelling units advertised on the Site are available on an equal opportunity basis.
For information regarding protections afforded under the Fair Housing Act and related materials and publications, you may wish to visit the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") website.

Notwithstanding our policy and these terms, in the event any user identifies an Impermissible Advertisement on this Site, such user is encouraged to report such Impermissible Advertisement to our staff at report@NYvacancies.com.
